In the Arthur cartoon series, the Tibbles are bears. But did you know in some Arthur/D.W. books they are humans? (Except for Arthur's Fire Drill, Arthur and the School Pet, and D.W. Saves the Day - Arthur's Family Values where they are the bear tibbles)

Yes, isn't that weird? I had "Arthur's Halloween" when I was a kid, and it always bugged me that Mrs. Tibble is a human and not an animal. I would love to hear what is up with the Tibbles in the books.
