In this episode, Buster put a toy that was the craze at the time into Arthur's backpack, without Arthur knowing it. And they try to return it because it's wrong to steal. They get caught by the owner and are punished. I really liked how Arthur looked in comparison with Buster. It shows him as the straight-arrow, stable main character that he is. I like seeing character differences that aren't just told out right. What do you guys think about this episode?

I think I remember seeing this one a long time ago, so I vaguely remember it, but I love what you're saying about the differences between Arthur and Buster's characters. I recognize it a lot, so I also like it when they're differentiated visually like that in certain episodes. This is one I'd like to see again more recently.

^ I haven't seen it in a long time either. I wonder why that is, probably just missed it. I actually borrowed the book from the library.

Every time I see this I want to scream at Buster and Arthur "Take the note out of the robot's hand! Leave the stupid robot, without the note, and run!" It is a good episode though. I think Nerves of Steal is a great title for this one!

I just saw it again recently! I like how it depicts stealing from a child's perspective - not something a child really ponders, they just don't think (well, unless they're maniacal like the Tibbles or something). ;D This episode reminds me of "Buster's Dino Dilemma", though I don't know if I'd consider what he did in that episode "stealing". My brother always jokes and says Buster's building up a criminal record (nothing serious in this comment)...it's just because Buster's still a child and he's impressionable.
