In this episode, Tommy Tibble tries to be "good," in order to obtain a cupcake. D.W. makes a bet with Emily saying that she could accomplish this feat. The unlikely pair do indeed succeed, only to have Tommy revert back to his old ways after all was said and done.
So, what did you guys think about this episode?

I really love that this is a D.W. episode, but I really dislike watching the Tibbles and their terrible manners. Actually the Tibbles' manners exceed terrible; they border ridiculous. I always wonder if Marc Brown Studios has some hidden agenda with the Tibbles' episodes to show why grandparents should not be raising their grandchildren. What do you think? I also think they should have an episode parodying Super Nanny or Nanny 911 and have a nanny visit the Tibbles and show Grandma how to get her act together with those two.

This episode was interestingly entertaining. I enjoyed watching the Tibbles; though their manners disgusted me too, I thought it was comical. When I was a kid, kids didn't really act that bad, but nowadays I'm appalled at what I see in kids, so it might be an accurate portrayal of some children today. I was kind of disappointed by the end because I kept rooting for Tommy throughout the entire episode. I didn't really expect him to stay "good" or anything, but I don't know if I expected them to shift right back to it at the end of the episode, just in the next episode. I guess I'm just strange. ^^
